Joyce R.H. Hutapea

Joyce started her career in Gauge, Maverick’s Media Tracking Department, in January 2007. Utilizing her competence in research and observation, her responsibilities were to provide media monitoring, market intelligence and analysis for Maverick’s retainer clients such as Coca Cola, Roche and Bank Danamon. She performed well under deadlines and delivered her reports in an accurate manner. After nine months of her career, she decided to extend her capability in public relations and joined Maverick’s consultancy team to deliver strategic communications counsel to clients like Airbus, Citi Indonesia and USAID Senada projects.

Azalea Firnindya

Azalea Firnindya, or Finnie, holds a Public Relations degree from the University of Indonesia. Prior to joining Maverick, Finnie was a freelance stylist and reporter in Seventeen Indonesia magazine. She has also completed an internship program in ANTV’s marketing communication division. Finnie joined Maverick in September 2007, and since then she is trusted to handle the Sampoerna, Coca Cola Indonesia and Sariwangi accounts.

Dian I Kartikasari

After an enriching eight years of working experience in PT Levi Strauss Indonesia, Dian joined Maverick on August 2007. During her services in the denim fashion industry, she handled a few different aspects of Levi’s® business such as product development, retail services, as well as advertising and promotion. Dian holds a BA degree from the Faculty of Mass Communication Padjadjaran University, majoring in Public Relations, and a returnee of AFS intercultural learning exchange student program to Australia. Leveraging her experiences, in Maverick Dian is trusted to handle accounts like Sampoerna, Coca-Cola, Sariwangi, UFS, Airbus, DKSH Tunggal.

Lia Marpaung


Lia recently joined Maverick after a seven-year endeavor in the development work, most recently for The Asia Foundation and UNICEF. Lia involved in building better business environment for Small and Medium Enterprises at the Asia Foundation, and assisted in managing program implementation on health and education for children and women in the most eastern province in Indonesia, Papua and Papua Barat. In those appointments, one of her top priorities was managing relationships between various stakeholders in the government, private sectors, civil society, and other professionals. Lia obtained her bachelor degree from the Faculty of Social and Political Science, University of Indonesia, majoring in Business Administration. She is currently pursuing her master degree majoring in Planning and Public Policy Program at the Economics Faculty of University of Indonesia.

Nancy Natalia



Nancy holds a BA degree in Media and Cultural Studies from Central Queensland University, Sydney, and also an Advanced Diploma in Mass Communications from Staffordshire University, Singapore. Nancy spent three years working in Sydney as a sales rep for a shoe product, before returning home and joining Metro TV as a production assistant and reporter. In Maverick, Nancy is leading the Airbus account and also a team member for the Citi Indonesia and Sariwangi accounts.

Nurjamroji


A social and political science graduate from Prof. Dr. Moestopo University, Odjie worked as a freelance translator of TV programs and a marketing trainer at a financial consultant company before joining Maverick as a media tracker. He is in charge of the back-end operations for Gauge, Maverick’s on-line media tracking and PR measurement service.

Marini Sastri


Rini started her carrier in public relation when she joined Maverick in December 2004 as a media tracker. Rini holds a Bachelor Degree in Social Science majoring in Public Relation from Prof. Dr. Moestopo University—Jakarta. Previously she has intern program at National Narcotic Board as Public Relation staff before joining Maverick. Now she is in charge of the back-end Media Tracking daily operational.

Ruli Harahap


Ruli entered the Public Relations world in 2006 when he joined Maverick as a media tracker. Ruli went to the State University of New York in Buffalo majoring in International Relations, and is now a student of UI’s Department of Social and Political Sciences Extension program. He has a diverse working experience, ranging from being a bank teller to an internship at the United Nations. He also worked as a freelance simultaneous and executive interpreter for visiting NGO officials. Ruli is now an associate for the Media Tracking Department, responsible for the development of the Media Tracking Application.

Crivenica 'Riri' Alam


Prior to Maverick, Riri was a marketing manager for a personal care and spa products company, which supplies to five-star hotels and resorts worldwide. She graduated with honors in English from Silver Lake College, USA. While there she earned experience in journalism with an internship with a local magazine and also worked in her college’s Public Relations Office. Riri used to teach writing at Atma Jaya Catholic University in Jakarta. In Maverick, Riri previously led the Airbus, Business Software Alliance, Dopod and Excelcomindo accounts, as well as projects involving Microsoft and the UNDP. She was also a key member of the Maverick team that manned the Aceh Nias Media Center for the one-year commemoration of the Asian tsunami. She now focuses on the overseeing of Gauge, Maverick’s Media Tracking Department, to provide media monitoring with accuracy, timeliness and quality.

Lita


With over 15 years of experience in the communications industry, Lita specializes in corporate leadership programs. She has helped clients develop their CSR programs that include Citi’s acclaimed PEKA program, Program Bimbingan Anak Sampoerna, Bayer’s environmental program and Pfizer’s Healthy Living Paradigm Campaign. Lita was Vice President at Ogilvy PR Jakarta before co-founding Maverick. As a partner she focuses on managing Maverick’s backroom operations to ensure that deadlines are met, details are checked and rechecked, work moves smoothly and employees’ professional and personal needs are met.

The Unspun


Ong has been a journalist for 15 years before moving into PR. In Indonesia, he headed the Ogilvy PR team that won the PR Week award for Asia’s Consultancy of the Year 1999. He was managing director of Ogilvy PR in Singapore before founding Maverick in 2002. Ong specializes in strategy, crisis and issues management and is an accomplished trainer in media handling and crisis management for top executives. He is a Nuffield Press Fellow at Cambridge University, a regular contributor in the opinion page of The Jakarta Post and a certified Associate Business Continuity Planner. He is also a member of AmCham, BritCham and an advisor to Yayasan Mitra Netra.

M. Adwi Yudiansyah


Prior to Maverick, Awie was an Expert Assistant at the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) where he provided advice, analysis and recommendations on Indonesian broadcasting policies. After the Asian Tsunami, Awie was sent by the Faculty of Social and Political Science, University Indonesia, to Aceh as the training coordinator in a capacity building program for the province’s radio stations. Awie holds a Mass Communications degree from the University of Indonesia. In Maverick, Awie is a team member in the following accounts: International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Group (IPMG), Coca-Cola Indonesia.

Tuhu Nugraha


Tuhu is a graduate of Padjadjaran University majoring in International Relations, and continued his Master’s degree on Management at Gadjah Mada University. As a student Tuhu was active as a coordinator of various student activities and won several prizes in debates and speech contests. He is also the Chairman of Smart Corner Club MM GMU, a live weekly radio talkshow discussing a variety of business topics.

Nur Shilla Christianto


Shilla holds a BA degree in Professional Communication, majoring in Public Relations from RMIT University, Melbourne. In Maverick, Shilla has worked with multi-national companies like Coca-Cola and Airbus. She previously led the Citi Indonesia account, Maverick’s largest retainer client, before moving up to a more senior role in the company – ensuring the smooth operations of account handling and personnel functions as well as in charge of the company’s business developments. Shilla was project leader in the Aceh Nias Media Center project (funded by the USAID) for the one-year commemoration ceremonies of the Tsunami, one of the most internationally significant events. Shilla also holds a diploma degree in Public Relations from the University of Indonesia. She demonstrated an academic excellence by graduating with honors from both tertiary institutions.

Rommy Rustami


With almost six years experience as an economic journalist in Bisnis Indonesia, Rommy joins Maverick in early July 2006. Daily, he tackled topics in trading, retail, transportation, small medium enterprise, cooperative, foreign exchange and commodities while he was still a part of the largest economic newspaper in Indonesia. Graduated from Institute National of Technology majoring in Civil Engineering, he has a passion for media and telecommunication matter. In Maverick, he is trusted to be a part of the Sampoerna-Anugerah Adiwarta Sampoerna and PT. Carrefour Indonesia accounts.

Hanny Kusumawati


Hanny was hired by Maverick because she had the most creative CV we’ve seen in a long time. She has not disappointed and brings her creativity, keen mind and efficiency to the Sampoerna, Ultrajaya and Coca-Cola accounts. She also plays an active role in many creative undertakings, both for clients and Maverick. Hanny holds a BA in Communications Studies from The London School of Public Relations—Jakarta. Prior to that she worked as a freelance private teacher for Korean managers in SAMSUNG Corp. and spent her last semester by working as an account executive in PT. Global Intech Solusi (GATES)—an IT company handling the interactive media Enjoy Jakarta Channel.

Nila Tanzil


Nila holds a MA degree in European Communication Studies from the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands and BA in International Relations from University of Parahyangan where she was recognized as the ”Best Student for the Year”. Nila has also been a bond trader at Paramitra Alfa Sekuritas in Jakarta before starting her career in public relations. At Maverick, Nila heads the United Fiber System and Carrefour accounts. Nila has also worked on litigation support projects involving financial crisis issues for Dairy Farm, labor-related issues for PT Effem Indonesia, a subsidiary of Mars, reputation issues for Danone and crisis-like situation for Carrefour. Nila’s focus areas are financial relations as well as issues and crisis management.

Nia Sadjarwo


Nia brings strong administration and execution skills to Maverick on top of her knowledge in mass communications. Nia worked as an event organizer at ESMOD Jakarta and GPR Coordinator as well as Academic Manager of Post Graduate Programs at the London School of Public Relations before joining Maverick. She also holds a BA degree in mass communications from the London School of Public Relations. At Maverick she handles accounts belonging to Carrefour and IPMG.

Indri P. Rosid


Indri brings fluency in four languages -- German and Italian on top of English and Indonesian to the pool of talents at Maverick. She holds a BA in Foreign Language and Art major in German Language and Literature from the State University of Jakarta and a diploma in public relations from The London School of Public Relations. In 2004 she received a scholarship from the Government of Italy to study Italian in Siena, Italy. Prior to joining Maverick, she was a public relations and marketing officer at the Aerowisata Group. At Maverick, she is currently a member of the Citibank, Pfizer, UFS, and Dopod teams.

Dorte Luedecke


Born in Germany, Dorte got her BA degree in Media and Communications at the University of Melbourne, Australia after completing her IB diploma in Jakarta. In Australia, she interned at the Melbourne Fringe Festival and worked on a TV pilot program. Fascinated by Indonesia’s culture, politics and media, she returned to Jakarta in April 2006 to see what it’s like to work here. Since then she has worked as an Event Consultant in corporate and government events such as the Balikpapan Expo ’06 and the Indonesia Infrastructure 2006 – Conference and Exhibition.
